Call Templates

Instead of writing scripts from scratch, start with templates. Modify them for your business, then launch. Go to https://agentclara.app/launch/outbound > Templates tab.

Read the Script

Click a template to see the full script. It’s a good starting point.

Customize for Your Business

Change:
  • Business name
  • Specific services/products
  • Your tone and style
  • Details (appointment times, offers, etc.)
Keep the structure but make it yours.

Save Your Version

Click “Save as Custom” to save your modified version.Next time you create a campaign, you can use your custom template—no need to rewrite it.

Use in Campaign

When creating a campaign, under Script, select your template and it auto-fills.Edit if needed, then launch.

Built-In Templates

1. Appointment Reminder

When to use: Reduce no-shows Script:
“Hi [Name], this is Clara from [Business]. I’m calling to remind you of your appointment tomorrow at [Time]. We’re looking forward to seeing you! Press 1 to confirm or press 2 if you need to reschedule.”
Customizations:
  • Change appointment time variable
  • Add “We’re here to help” if applicable
  • Mention any special notes (bring ID, arrive early, etc.)

2. Lead Follow-Up

When to use: Keep warm leads engaged Script:
“Hi [Name], this is Clara from [Business]. We connected last week about [Topic]. I wanted to follow up and see if you’ve had a chance to think about it. Do you have 5 minutes to chat?”
Customizations:
  • Mention specific discussion/product
  • Add urgency if applicable (“limited time offer”)
  • Adjust for email/meeting/demo

3. Win-Back Campaign

When to use: Re-engage lapsed customers Script:
“Hi [Name], this is Clara from [Business]. We haven’t seen you in a while and we miss you! We’ve added [New Thing], and I’d love to get you back in. Are you interested in a [Offer]?”
Customizations:
  • Mention what’s new (products, services, features)
  • Make the offer specific (discount, free trial, etc.)
  • Add personal touch (“Remember when you loved…“)

4. Survey / NPS

When to use: Get feedback quickly Script:
“Hi [Name], quick question: How would you rate your recent experience with us? Press 1 for poor, 5 for excellent.”
Customizations:
  • Ask specific question (“How was your service?”)
  • Add follow-up (“If 4 or 5, why?” / “If below 3, what could we improve?”)
  • Use sentiment to route (book follow-up for low ratings)

5. Event Invitation

When to use: Drive attendance Script:
“Hi [Name], you’re invited to [Event] on [Date] at [Time]. It’s free and you’ll learn about [Topic]. Want to register? Press 1 for yes, 2 for maybe later.”
Customizations:
  • Add event details
  • Mention who should attend (“Salon owners only”)
  • Include registration link or instructions

When to use: Announce new offerings Script:
“Hi [Name], this is Clara from [Business]. We just launched [Product], and I think you’d love it. It [Benefit]. Want to hear more? Press 1 for yes.”
Customizations:
  • Describe what’s new
  • Explain the benefit
  • Make it sound exciting

7. Upsell / Cross-Sell

When to use: Increase order value Script:
“Hi [Name], thanks for your recent purchase of [Product]. You might also love [Related Product]. It pairs perfectly. Want to learn more? Press 1 for yes.”
Customizations:
  • Reference their actual purchase
  • Suggest complementary product
  • Include special bundle pricing if applicable

8. Re-Engagement

When to use: Bring back inactive subscribers Script:
“Hi [Name], we noticed you haven’t opened our emails in a while. We’d love to stay in touch! Are you still interested in our updates? Press 1 to stay subscribed, 2 to unsubscribe.”
Customizations:
  • Reference their previous engagement
  • Offer value (“We’re sharing industry secrets next week”)
  • Make unsubscribe easy (required by law)

Creating Custom Templates

Save Your Script as a Template

After you write a script for a campaign:
  1. Go to Templates tab
  2. Click “Create New Template”
  3. Enter:
    • Template name - “Holiday Promotion 2024”
    • Description - “For customers who haven’t bought in 6 months”
    • Script - Your full script text
    • Tags - “seasonal”, “promotion”, “win-back”
  4. Click Save
Now you can reuse this script without rewriting it.

Organize Templates

You can organize templates by:
  • Type - Reminder, follow-up, survey, etc.
  • Audience - VIP, lapsed, new
  • Season - Holiday, summer, etc.
  • Campaign - By business type
Use tags to make them easy to find.

Template Variables

Use these in any template to auto-fill contact data:

In your script:

If a field is missing, Clara says “that information” instead.

Best Practices

Start with a template. It’s faster than writing from scratch.
Customize it. Generic scripts convert worse. Make it personal.
Save your version. Once you customize it, save it as a custom template for reuse.
Test first. Call yourself and listen to how it sounds. Adjust if needed.
Keep it short. Under 30 seconds is ideal. Longer = lower conversion.
Don’t use corporate jargon. People on the phone appreciate casual, friendly language.

Template Performance

Metrics show you which templates work best: Go to Reports and filter by template:
  • Conversion rate - % who said yes
  • Appointment booked - Direct bookings
  • Voicemail left - For follow-up
  • Call length - How long people stayed on
Use this to identify your best-performing scripts. Copy them and refine them further.

Salon / Spa

“Hi [Name], this is Clara from [Salon]. It’s been a while and we’d love to see you! We have availability Friday at 3pm or Saturday at 11am. Want to book?”

Gym / Fitness

“Hi [Name], thanks for joining us! We have new equipment and classes starting next month. When would be good to give you a tour? Press 1 for Monday, 2 for Wednesday.”
