Add Your First Client

Follow these steps to onboard a new client onto AgentClara.

Create a Sub-Account

Go to https://agentclara.app/master/accounts (you need agency owner permissions).Click “Create New Sub-Account”Fill in:
  • Client Name - Their business name
  • Industry - What they do (salon, gym, etc.)
  • Email Contact - Who manages this client for you
Click Create.

Configure the Client's Agent

You’re now inside the client’s account. You’ll see their agent setup:
  1. Go to https://agentclara.app/agent
  2. Set up their Clara (personality, knowledge, voice)
  3. Add their business hours
  4. Connect their calendar
Do this for your client OR invite them to do it themselves.

Connect Their Channels

The client needs to talk to customers through at least one channel (SMS, email, Instagram, etc).Go to https://agentclara.app/integrations and connect:
  • SMS (if they use text messages)
  • Email (if customers email them)
  • Instagram/Facebook (if they use social media)
  • WhatsApp (if they want WhatsApp support)
You can do this, or send them a setup link to do it themselves.

Invite Their Team

If the client has staff who should access their account:Go to https://agentclara.app/settings/usersClick “Invite User”Fill in:
  • Email - Their work email
  • Role - What they can do:
    • Owner - Can change billing and invite others (usually the client owner)
    • Admin - Can use all features but can’t change billing
    • User - Can read conversations and reply but can’t change configuration
Click Send Invite.The person will get an email and can start using the platform immediately.

That's It

Your client is now live and can start serving customers with Clara.To come back and manage them later, use the Sub-Account Selector in the top left of your dashboard.

Managing Multiple Clients

Once you have several clients, you can: Switch Between Clients
  • Use the dropdown in the top left
  • It shows all your sub-accounts

Invite Format

When you invite someone to a sub-account, they get an email like:
“You’ve been invited to join [Client Name] on AgentClara. Click here to activate your account.”
They’ll create a password and start using the platform. Simple.

Can Clients Invite Their Own Team?

Yes. If you make someone an Owner, they can:
  • Invite their own team members
  • Change their agent configuration
  • Manage their own billing (see their costs)
If you make them Admin, they can use everything except invite people or change billing.

Troubleshooting

Use the Sub-Account Selector in the top left (it’s a dropdown showing your client names). Click on the client you want.
  1. Check their spam folder
  2. Make sure you used the right email
  3. Try inviting them again
Go to Settings > Users in that sub-account, find the user, and click Remove.
Yes. Go to Settings > Users, find them, and click Edit to change their role.
