Get Clara Running

The fastest way to get Clara talking to your customers. Follow these steps in order—it takes about 15 minutes.

Sign Up

Go to https://agentclara.app and create your account.Use your work email so your team can find you later.

Start the Setup Wizard

After you sign up, you’ll see a big “Setup Wizard” button. Click it.(If you don’t see it, go to your dashboard and look for the wand icon ✨ in the top right.)

Tell Us About Your Business

The wizard will ask:
  • What industry are you in? (salon, gym, clinic, etc.)
  • What’s your business name?
  • What time do you usually work?
Just be honest. You can change this later.

Add Your First Channel

Pick how customers reach you:
  • Text messages (SMS)
  • Email
  • Instagram
  • WhatsApp
  • Facebook Messenger
  • Website chat
Pick at least one. The wizard will walk you through connecting it.

Customize Your Agent

Give Clara a personality:
  • What’s her name? (Hint: Clara is our favorite 😊)
  • What’s her tone? (Professional, friendly, casual)
  • What should she know about your business?
This is where you teach Clara about your products, policies, or services.

Test It Out

At the end of the wizard, you’ll see a chat box. Try it:
  • “What are your hours?”
  • “Can I book an appointment?”
  • “Do you have availability Tuesday?”
If Clara answers correctly, you’re ready. If not, you’ll have a chance to teach her more in the next step.

You're Done!

Click “Finish” and you’re live. Clara is now responding to real customers.Your inbox is at https://agentclara.app/chats - you’ll see conversations come in as customers contact you.

Next: Teach Clara About Your Business

Now that Clara is live, she needs more information to answer questions correctly.

Add Documents

Upload PDFs, policies, or guides so Clara can reference them.

Write FAQs

List common questions and how you want Clara to answer them.

Create Templates

Write sample responses so Clara knows your tone and style.
Go to Settings > Knowledge to add these.

Troubleshooting

Check that you actually connected your channel (SMS, email, etc). If you skipped that step:
  1. Go to https://agentclara.app/integrations
  2. Click on your channel (SMS, Instagram, etc)
  3. Follow the setup steps to connect it
She needs to learn. Go to Settings > Knowledge and add:
  • Your business hours
  • Common questions (FAQ)
  • Your policies (pricing, cancellation, etc)
Yes. Go to https://agentclara.app/integrations and add as many as you want.
